Homemade Almond Milk

Posted by Shannon Chappelle on

Nut milks are easy to make, they are nutritious and delicious!

Any raw nut can be used here. I love pumpkin seeds and hazelnut too.

It is always best to buy organic, raw and from the fridge when possible. This ensures that the oils have not gone rancid.

Fresh Almond Milk

1 cup of Raw Organic Almonds

4 cups of filtered water

A pinch of himalayan sea salt or more to taste.

1 T of maple syrup

1 tsp of pure vanilla extract

Soak almonds over night. Drain and rinse.

Blend almonds with 4 cups of water in a high speed blender. Strain through a nut milk bag. Add milk back to blender with maple syrup, vanilla extract and Himalayan Sea salt. Whip and enjoy!
